Official Manchester City v Hull City thread

hull are having their by team talk infront of their fans apparently as phil brown is embarrased for them...haha! Come on city, this has been great to watch!

Superb first half. Hughes has got the team right today and it looks like the players have had a rocket up their backsides. Big Phil deserves his two goals, more from him in 1 half than Benji and Vass all season between them. Robbi also looking back to his best, but Ireland MotM so far. Everything we do is started or involves him. Elano playing well too, seems more confident than of late.

Just cught it there on the stream. Is Brown not letting them go in at half time?
saw that too, wonder if they are having there talk on the pitch as punishment?

From the BBC...
1554: That is the most remarkable thing I have ever seen during the interval at a football match. Phil Brown led his Hull players to their away support and after applauding the fans, he sits the players down on the ground and gives them an almighty rollocking. After five minutes, he tells them to go back to the dressing-room. They look utterly humbled. They should be. They were absolutely shocking in that 45 minutes.

Agreed, Hughes' team is working and he has his first choice players on the pitch. Was going to pick out Ireland as immense (sure he is yards faster this season) but it would be unfair on the rest of em. Well done mr Hughes

Surely to God, this spells the end for Vass and Benji.
