Official Manchester Derby Thread.

Re: Manchester Derby.

There's already two clubs in Manchester; City and City reserves.

A real six-pointer this one quite apart from the bragging rights and just always wanting to beat those smug arrogant patronising wankers.

this will be uniteds toughest game of the season so far me thinks.

I reckon spurs will take them out this weekend aswell...
in fairness they have already been beaten this season. by burnley!

Re: Manchester Derby.

Really really excited for this one, a lot more at stake than just local bragging rights. Would really put the shits up Fergie if we turn them over in their back yard, especially if they don't get three points from Spurs this weekend too.

Re: Manchester Derby.

i think it will be really intresting to see what the rags have to say. does anyone have a link to there forums to see what they're all saying?

I'm always excited for any City game, the fact its a derby is a bonus.

Think this will be my 8th time at Old Shitford.

I never missed a Derby home or away for 25 years. Always made a special effort to get a ticket - even when we had no allocation when they were redeveloping the swamp I manged to get tickets in their end. Then, about 4 years ago, I realsied that I really didn't enjoy those games - it's great when you win but, on other occassions, I just felt a sick feeling deep in the pit of my stomach. Never bothered trying to get a ticket after that.

Re: Manchester Derby.

i always get the pre derby shits. before the last easlands derby i was int mary ds toilets for about 45 mins before the game!

Re: Manchester Derby.

You know how they are going to play they'll park the bus fletcher will be running around like a headless chicken kicking everthing that moves and rooney will be just running around trying to get the ball of us with steam coming out of his ears!! last year I though we kept the ball better than we had done in years and they scored from two hacks up front and fletcher should of been sent of he just goes around fouling like in the arsenal game. Hope we get a decent ref not that bald heading twat from the portsmouth game

Re: Manchester Derby.

Wonder if SWP will receive the same treatment as he did when we played at home, i.e just getting snapped by all of their players or maybe they will target someone else this time?

he was our paciest player last year. think about it this time we will have bellers/tevez, big ade, robinho with his skill aswell. they will find it much harder to cope.
