newton heath founded 1878,
didn't play football till 1880,
didn't become part of Manchester till 1890,
didn't become "United" till 1902,
got evicted in 1910
and we haven't seen them in Manchester since,
....................unless we invite them for a visit

newton heath founded 1878,Newton Heath LYR, 'The Heathens',they didn't drop the LYR till 1890 & the Y stands for Yorkshire making them half a YORKSHIRE CLUB.
