I just don't get the hate..I mean I get it on match day..I go mental during those 90 minutes but after that it's just about a beer and a lagh (I've had this conversation with some Liverpool fans as well)

I love football I thinks it's so good it's almost an art at time and my little girl is interested.

I'm not naive..I've done more fucking than fighting but I get how it works on match day having said that I'm not an Internet user until recently but I find the aggressiveness and the use of the word '****' to describe opposition fans to be strange. (I repeat this is not a city bashing exercise I've pulled up Liverpool fans for similar)

Love the competition..love the rivalry..love the bite...not sure I get the hate

Any way I wish you a terrible season lol

its mostly imo about respect. I am a lot older than you and remember Liverpool when they were good. to me they were flawless and even though a rival at the time you respected them. I remember them selling Rush I thought thank fuck for that, I think they still won the league that year only to buy him back the following year. my first thought was "bollocks" we've had it now. of course the rags were shite, they hadn't signed howard webb and the piss can had'nt bribed or bullied other refs. Liverpool commanded respect. clem, jimmy case, cally and of course one of the best players ever to grace the game Dalglish. all top top players. then the hurt set in, the self entitlement set in, the unacceptence that football moves in cicles set in. you lot don't like that. you are Liverpool , you are entitled, you have istory. well guess what? there is a new kid in town, as there will be when our star loses its shine. that's football. what you lot did at klanfield last year was nothing short of a disgrace. I don't know if you could hear it on the telly but your players booed our every move, our every touch. players like aguero, silva and co, class players who grace our league, players we are priveldged along with the hazards etc that we lucky to have in our country. what do you lot do? fucking boo. so you fluke a win, a win that took you the brink of being champions. what do you lot do? you brick our coaches, yep, no thoughts about who might be on that coach, kids, women , anyone at all, you bricked it anyway. that after a win. god knows what you murdering racist bastards would have done had you lost.
people often call Manchester united scum, I've done it myself, but mark my words when it comes to scum you lot(maybe not you I hasten to add) are the lowest of the low.

Hi Luvfooty, and welcome.

I`m 62 so not a kid anymore. I don`t usually hate football clubs or reasonable people I meet and in truth, I always use to liked Liverpool for the football they played and some of the special players you had.

Tommy Smith, Graham Souness, Ray Kennedy, Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish, anyway you get the idea. In those times your support was I thought always fair, win lose or draw, although it was mainly win. I`ve always said its easy to be nice when your teams winning everything in sight.

The cycle you are presently in has changed vast numbers of your support, On my last trip to your place after we stood and showed respect to your supporters who tragically lost their lives you booed our team for no apparent reason for the 90 minutes plus. Some might say, don`t be so precious but in 58 years of watching my team at more home and away games than i`d like to count, I have never heard the shit doled out to any team as I did to our that day. That day the Liverpool team i`d admired joined the Scum and Arsenal as the clubs I hate the most.

The brick through the window of the coach thrown when 4 young scrote`s who ran out of an back entry while we were on the way to the ground didn`t sway my opinion that could happen almost anywhere.

Anyway welcome, I hope you don`t get shit off some of the kids on here and as long as you dont talk bollocks you`ll be welcome by me.

Go take a look at the racial abuse and death threats both Sterling and his infant daughter have gotten from sections of the Liverpool support, cunts is a mild description.

We've no problem with rational Liverpool fans.

So £20-30m over? The fee was £44+ add ons. Lets work in the mid range of what we've supposedly overpaid, £25m. So by my basic maths 25 subtracted from 44 is 19.

I really don't understand what the fuss is about for a player who is worth, buy their own admission £19m? The same player that was allegedly poisonous, a bad influence in the dressing room and they wanted to see the back of?

Also if we are £billions deep, why would we squirm? Oh yeah. Our owner will have one less Veyron to nip down to Greggs for his baked bean pastie. Shall we all do a collection at the first home game as he's on his uppers.
