The 5 mill of add ins is broken down in to 2 mill for appearances £500,000 per 30 games up to 120 appearances.

And £3mill for trophies working out as £1.5mill per champs league or £1mill per prem tittle to a maximum of £3 mill.

Or they're completely unaware of the less appealing bits.

It's comical how they bemoan our owner and 'modern football' when it was them as a club, as much as any other, that created that landscape, a landscape that made clubs like Chelsea and City such enticing investment vehicles for foreign billionaires. They were at the vanguard of several maneuvers to concentrate more and more wealth at the top of the English game and all of a sudden they don't like it because they've fallen victim to their own selfish machinations.

If you move the pieces on the board, don't be surprised when things don't always go to plan.

As an older fan I'd like to say fuck you to Liverpool. I've been there and been attacked, I have witnessed their fans and their behaviour. I'm delighted to steal their best player and watch them decline even further. To now here they are racially abusing him and his family shows again that they really are the scum of the earth. Let me guess, they aren't really Liverpool fans and most of them are salt of the earth, yeah right.

As said before, all the best lad, work hard, play for the shirt and win a shit load playing for the blues.

The amount handed to Sterling depends on the contract he signed with Liverpool.
He certainly didn't hand in a transfer request - so he will get the remainder of the signing on fee he is due (for a salary of £30k a week probably 10% of the value of his wages at Liverpool/ years of contract paid yearly on contract anniversary = £7,800,000f/5 (years of contract) * 10% / 2 (remaining years of contract) = £312k.
It then depends if there is a sell on fee in the original contract. Liverpool fans seem to think there is but as to the value - who knows.
