We don't need a left footer in the centre. We need a quality centre half, who can position himself correctly, organize and win every ball in the air. Our defence is screaming for correct positioning, organization and aerial ability. I do not feel Toure is the man we should have bought, but we did, so we just have to hope he will improve with the correct partner. Richards is simply not at the level needed. He has a very small football brain.

i want lescott so much but tbh i want him to come and play left back! bridge on paper was a good signing but all last season he was poor and this year i thought id give the lad a chance but all im seeing is very very poor defending! i still havnt seen him make a tackle in about the last 15 games for us lol.

Freindly's are hard to judge but on the basis of what i have seen we need a new centre half a.s.a.p as we look vulnerable every time they run at us.

Adebayor, Barry, Ireland and Robinho playing well.

Not convinced by De Jong or Bridge. I think their left back is better.

We desperately need a left sided centre half. Dunne is not the answer to that!

Add Lescott hopefully and Tevez to tonights team ( and maybe SWP) and we will have a decent side on the pitch. I am very happy with what I have seen.

Not to be too hard on the lad Etuhu but I would much rather see us playing with Bellamy in his position. Bellamy is the closest type to Tevez we have and would give a better reflection to how our system will work at full tilt.

And can I just say LOL at Robinho kissing Irelands neck!

How are people calling for Dunne???

Kolo Toure has made Dunne look world class. Some fans are complete one eyed.

They have their mind set and thats it. Dunne has done nothing wrong other than cover for Toure's wayward passing and piss poor positioning.

90 minutes of football for toure in citys defense! so i dont expect him to be looking like a world stopper in our defense yet thanks.

Im not getting at Toure. I understand its his first game so i expect nothing from him yet. However i find it hard to take the face of some City fans to slag Dunne when he's had a good game compared to his defensive partner.
