Official Talksport Thread

From the bits of the programme I heard Cundy wasn't being too bad. He was saying that as a Chelsea fan he knows what it's like to be in the position that City are in now, and admitted that Chelsea's success is purely down to the money. He wasn't slagging City off and wasn't being bitter because as a Chelsea fan he knows thay have been lucky to be in the position that they have been for the last few years. Irani was being less anti-City than usual, and overall I get the impression that the station has become far more amenable to the prospect of City becoming a success than they used to. Whether this is a deliberate policy I don't know.
 
Only heard a few callers, but had to laugh as they all seem to be reading from the same script now.... "the team will take a season to gel... what happens when their rich owner decides to walk away?" They're fucking shitting themselves!

Heard Sky Andrew talking about us though and he was pretty positive - saying that players weren't coming just for money but for footballing reasons etc.
 
I apologise to people who may have been in this situation, but its a known fact that Jason Cundy does indeed only have 1 ball, so along with the fact he's a cockney, its no surprise he sounds like a mouse with an attitude.

I think there is a definite sway in some parts of the media to us.

ive had talkshite on in my waggon at work recently and this mick dennis seems a very fair guy.

Yeah, you usually see him reading the papers sometimes on SSN, but ive been very impressed to see someone who isnt totally rag based and is glad to see a change.

Yeah its good to hear someone in the media with something positive to say about us, a chelsea fan just rang in and lost it with him:)

My lads sat in the lounge now[he hates football,got all the wifes jeans]and he;s wondering why I;m listening to a blank tv screen and on here.This Mick Dennis is telling them how it is,good program at moment.

im looking forward to the chelsea clown coming on at one.i listen on way home from work and hear him slagging us off almost every day.yesterday he said he wont do his naked walk if/when J.T joins us ,just gonna cut up his j.t signed chelsea top.i should be irked by this prick's inane waffling ,but it shows just how we are starting to be viewed round the country and i'm loving it ! hahahahaha

Good stuff from Mick Dennis, always thought he was a bit of a slimy prick but gone up in my estimation after today!
 
Listening now and Durham is proper backing us to finish top 4 and Wrighty to a lesser extent.

Adrian saying he can't see many weaknesses and thats before we sign any more of our prospective targets.
