We've barely made Kirkland work, got to get more shots in even if they are long range.

Fair play to Wigan, they have excellent work-rate and have closed us down superbly.

Good performance overall. City clearly the better team. SWP has been fantastic. Ade been playing well. Several great crosses in from set plays by Petrov, only bad luck prevented us from scoring. Go City!

i guess you havnt watched the whole game then. the majority of petrovs crosses were short and shite.

Its mind boggling to me that a professional winger at this level cannot get past the first defender with a cross or a corner. Its pathetic. SWP is not the same player he used to be. We all know he has great ability but he's so erratic with his passing and can't seem to get past his man. Ade's been crap so far and Tevez is working his socks off but is still all over the place. The most interesting point for me is just how important Bellers and Ireland are for us.
