Oh dear (fulham)

Knew it was gonna be about michael Jackson before I clicked the link. Haven't they got a statue as well?

Haha Blackburn make the top 4, there having a laugh. Although if they do, they will be accused of 'stealing' tottenhams spot in the top 4.

lol is this the Blackburn with the most clueless board in the history of boards (unlaminated chipboard included), i feel a bit sorry for them tbh. I would be shitting it every time the board decide to do anything.

al Fayed didn't get to be a billionaire retailer for nothing. I think we've missed a trick and should adopt a global superstar so we can increase our revenue by selling related stuff in the shop.

Let's think - how about Cliff Richard?
hmm im confused, if you decide to buy somthing from their own football club shop, i would assume you were looking for somthing related to the football club. i guess retail aint for me. :(

Not a hope in heaven that Blackburn will challenge the top 4 in the next 4 years.
When Spurs and then us did it, the established top 4 teams had become stale. Now they are all flapping like a chased hen in fear of losing out.
We used other teams complacency and a lot of money to get where we are. The top teams are no longer complacent and there's no way the Venkys will spend the amounts that Liverpool, Spurs, Rags and ourselves have.

As for Fullham, poor fuckers. I'd die of embarrassment if Fayed had anything to do with us.

Anyone actually read the article? Media misrepresentation at its best. Blackburn ACTUALLY said they want, and I quote:

"European football in three or four years"

That doesn't mean Champions League, that means Europa League. Nowhere in the article does it even mention the CL, except once when it said Phil Jones left them because he wanted CL football. Putting a target of Europa League in 4 seasons is actually a remarkably conservative target for Blackburn.

Imagine the shock on my face to see the title "Michael At The Cottage" load up and the subsequent relief it wasn't pictures of men misbehaving in public conveniences.

Am I the only person who thought George when I saw it?

As an aside, Fulham fans are a strange bunch. I remember a couple of seasons ago after they beat us 3-2 when we were 2-0 up. I was drinking with a couple of them in The Jolly Angler, and they switched the conversation away from football onto a critique of the works of George Orwell. Can you imagine Millwall fans doing that?

You obviously missed the Fulham badge on the t-shirts then!!

The Blackburn story is nonsense. The Venkys are wanting out and they are trying to inflate the value of the club. They came into football very naiive and quickly learned that they were out of their depth.

Good luck to Blackburn! They may be shooting a bit high and unrealistic for top four in four years... but you never know, those Venkys might be serious (not sure!) and many Indians are extremely wealthy, billionaire wealthy! I'd like nothing more than to see Liverpool and Everton squeezed out by Blackburn. We always say the future's bright the future's blue; City Chelsea, QPR and Blackburn as top four regulars in ten years time would be fantastic! I'd take to that big time! Let's fuck red off for good (including our away kits!).
