i must admit when son number one was born 18 months ago i went to match after her waters had broke and made it back to the hospital in time, but this time might not risk it !!!! if i miss the game then so be it...... may just be a double celebration tomorrow.
 
if its a 2nd child then it shouldnt take so long to pop out then. ours were 14hrs, 6 hrs, 2 hrs.
 
It's all down to what you'd end up regretting more, if you'd regret missing the match more go to it, if you'd regret not seeing your child being born go to the hospital. If it was up to me I'd probably go to the hospital, it'd be a special moment that would always stay with me, I'd just feel too guilty if I missed it, whereas if things don't go our way in the derby and I chose that I'd always feel guilty about it but also have that stuck in my mind too.

Hopefully the labour won't be that long though and you can be at the birth and then go to the match, congratulations to you and your wife mate!

Hopefully she'll have the baby and then you can make it to the game. If not I'd go to the hospital, given that kick off isn't for over 20 hours I can't see her not having it before then but you'd regret it forever, especially if we lose.

As for names; if it's a boy Carlos, no question, if it's a girl, Katie?
 
To be honest what good do you do by being there at the birth?

At our last all i got was a load of abuse (mind you I was standing on the pipes for the gas and air for about 20 minutes whilst she struggled for pain relief)

and then after the birth she falls asleep for six hours!!!!!!!!!

Go to the birth, you idiot! My girlfriend calls me obsessed, but even I know where to stop. Everytime he/she gets on your tits later on, you can always use it against them too.

my brothers girlfriend had a baby girl yesterday. brother wasn't sure last week if he would be able to go. i think he's the happiest guy in the world right now, and if city win, even more so.
 
Baby will be out before the game. Go wet the baby's head before the game with a couple of dozen cans. Turn up at the hospital tomorrow afternoon wankered singing city songs with a baby outfit from the city store and some nappies. Job done.
