Oh NOOOOOOO !!!!!!

I went to s.c.f.c v City last season as my 5th kid was poping in to the world. The boy has forgiven me and his 1st words were DADDY ,CITY,FOOTBALL, then MUMMY. The wife still brings it up but I follow CITY any time any place .She was told when we got together.

Man up and miss the game

There'll be loads more derbies. Your kid will only be born once
this is so wrong

man up and go to the game

the kid will never know if you were there or not, and at the end of the day neither will she!

Go to the birth of your child, there will be loads more derby games, but hopefully twill be sorted for you by fate who will have the nipper born in time for you to get to both. Good luck with it all

Will your future son/daughter who will obviously be a blue (if not you are a really bad parent) be bothered when you tell them later on in life??? They will be so glad that you went to city. good luck blue, all the best!!!

tell her to say nowt, get her to the game, with a bit of luck, the evcitment of the occation, will help her to drop the kiddy as we applaud the lads off the pitch....just think the babby could be the club mascott in years to come, jokin appart good luck mate, hope both are well and healthy

Well, that's not quite so important is it? ;)

Being at the birth of your child is a modern fad dating from the 1970s.

Derbies have been going a lot longer than that.

Explain that to the wife and you'll be OK.

Just had a call from my good lady wife ..... She's gone into bloody labour !!!! I've just told her she's got 18 hrs to get the bloody thing out...... Do i go to the match or not?

Try "just nipping to the loo love, ive got a right dicky tummy after that Ruby last night"

Taxi to match - watch us stuff the reds - taxi back (you may have to forego the post-match pint pal!) and back to the Missus...

"Phew, i didnt think i was ever gonna get off the loo luv, you still alright are ya??"

Just a suggestion kidda!!

If I remember rightly BlueStew you told her she had to have the baby before the West Ham match so she is only doing what you told her!!! ;-)

Good luck to you both, but I am sure it will be born before the match so you will be there!!

All the best

Eccles Blue.
