I found this old footage between our teams .
The score is irrelevant , so try and look past that , as there is a lot of insight into the old game , interesting commentary and interviews .
I figured a few of you might enjoy it despite City losing .

That is pretty cool, regardless of the score. Thanks!

Your welcome m8 .
It was intersting that both Cities were in Lancashire back then too . What was more interesting was watching one of the greatest footballers of all time sat there smoking a fag lol .

"Some good heading, rather too much heading if one might say so in this game. Still more heading. Let's have the ball to the earth, please."

Best post for ages.

"Two much heading"

"Against his old friends you know"

"Whoopee - hands across the sea!"

Loved the commentary. Commentator coughing over his fag.

Post match interview - Dixie Dean havin a fag too.

Also noted that you get plenty of touches on the ball before an opposition player gets near. Mind you, given the weight of it, you'd need them.

From Pathe point of view, interesting that they missed any goal build up - and the third goal altogether.

Still more heading....lets have the ball on the earth please

Yeah 1-11 for you lot, 12-22 for us. ANOTHER first that we took part in, and to say we have no history PAH!

On a side note DSOB, i'm not sure Dixie's goal would of counted in the modern game, what an animal :D
