I found this old footage between our teams .
The score is irrelevant , so try and look past that , as there is a lot of insight into the old game , interesting commentary and interviews .
I figured a few of you might enjoy it despite City losing .

Btw, we didn't lose....counting was in it's infancy in those days, we know better now, it was a draw. ;)

Really interesting video that, cheers. I liked the bit at the end where Dean and Cowan were together, having a drink, and giving a toast for the cup to stay in Lancashire. Footballers were gentlemen in those days, its impossible to imagine that now.

Thanks DSOB really enjoyed that,apart from the fact that we were robbed!!!!It reminded me of the old Harry Enfield sketch where everyone followed one another smoking pipes and fags

I don't suppose many will find this interesting with it being an Everton fact ( if I get City ones I'll pass them on ) but apparantly Everton have only had 16 managers in their entire history .

That's what I call giving guys a chance . ( amazed smiley )

didn't realise we'd played so well in that game. We pissed all over Everton in the 2nd half. Eric Brook was a class player wasn't he - everything seemed to go through him! I love old footage of City and I think this is the oldest I've seen. If only there was some footage of the 1904 Cup Final.... or even just a glimpse of Billy Meredith in action! :)
