I love the old stars, I had a picture made up for my bedroom which no one else will have. Took a photo to show on here but it says image is too large to post. Not sure why it's not even big.

Is it an iPhone if so select attach file then pick photo at bottom of phone press options you can change size of the photo

Just take a screen shot of the picture on your phone (swipe the edge of your hand over the screen) edit the picture to remove the bits of the picture you don't want using the edit function then save and attach. Simples!!

That's great.

Been thinking about Judy Garland today, and "that" scene in A Star is Born. Makes me want to cry every time I see it.
She could sing like an angel yet she could act her socks off too.

You're right, there should be.
Apparently Monroe said Clift was the only person she met who she considered as being in an even worse state than she was. This would have been the time of The Misfits though, and he was a wreck by that point. He'd been a good actor and he was really good in The Misfits too. Probably because his vulnerabilities were genuine (as were Monroe's) and it makes their respective characters even more real

I never really "got" Ava, although she was beautiful, no doubt about that.

There were some beautiful actresses in the old films, Vivien Leigh, Olivia de Haviland, Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman to name a few and talented.

I thought Hedy Lamarr and Gene Tierney were the pick of the bunch
