When we used to play Liverpool at Anfield in the 80s - a time of mass unemployment. To the tune of their anthem "You'll never walk alone" "Sign on...Sign on with pen in your hand and you'll never work again" all done with arms raised, clutching tenners and swaying in the breeze.

And spuds apologised for their fans singing it last season at Anfield.

City’s Goung Up, KC and the Sunshine Band. I defy any City fan of a certain age to hear that tune and not sing City’s going up along to it

We sang it with gusto in the late summer and autumn of 83...but we didn't! Typical City. Happy days...
