Old long forgotten City songs

When we used to play Liverpool at Anfield in the 80s - a time of mass unemployment. To the tune of their anthem "You'll never walk alone" "Sign on...Sign on with pen in your hand and you'll never work again" all done with arms raised, clutching tenners and swaying in the breeze.
And spuds apologised for their fans singing it last season at Anfield.

Needs a comeback that one.

Still happens every single game in the south stand.

It’s so childish but the old ones are the best haha
Iloveit! I'm 56 years old and happily childish.

(might have to move to the South Stand now that this has been confirmed

Stood outside the scoreboard end waiting to get in the swamp pointing up singing " let's all laff at "

Another from the 50’s my dear mum always sang….

Who said City couldn’t play
City couldn’t play
City couldn’t play
Who said City couldn’t play
City couldn’t play football….
A big favourite in our house growing up with the older folks.
