Sir Matt Busby, Manager of Manchester United (left) pictured with Tony Book (footballer for Manchester City - on the right. The event is the launch of Soccer '70, an exhibition in Manchester Town Hall displaying 65 international trophies and mementoes. Proceeds from the exhibition which will include soccer forums and films will go towards better facilities for The Manchester and Salford Playing fields Society and boys Club. Matt holds a giant model of an Adidas Football boot. 22nd July 1970.View attachment 188810

I never liked the purple striped Brother kit at the time. I think it looks cool as years later.

Yes he did ok, but he was no where Liverpool's level when they sold him to City

I think thats Mike Doyle Playing for Stoke? (on the right last photo) I remember City playing Stoke At the Victoria Ground & Mike was in Stoke colours, it just looked wrong!
