Old Man City Footage required for 1997/98

Blimey are u trying to depress yourself or looking for a cure for insomnia.I was at all these games once was bad enough

Probably trying to put some much needed perspective on the fact of going out of the League Cup to Southampton, and being beaten by the rags thanks to an absolutely outrageous non-decision by the referee (albeit playing quite badly, but would still have very probably won) — while still being second in the league and having topped our Champions League group.
There are worse forms of failure.

Teatime tonight i was flicking through the channels and found A world of Sport.
Had to show all 6 George Best goals vs Northampton (some things never change) but a selection of own goals as well.
Mr P(b)ollock's was well in there as was Tommy Hutchinson's.
TV loves the rags in any year
Hutchison

Not only did he pick up a back pass but didn’t he also throw it back to QPR to take a quick free kick
Which they scored from. Reid promoted Margetson to no2 behind Coton, at that point Dibble should have left. Although he may have had faults he was better than Margetson. Not sure who negotiated Margetsons contracts but he must have had a good agent. Wasnt he subbed at HT in a home defeat to then hang around without being seen for about 3 yrs before resurfacing as an outfield sub.

Does anybody have any old footage hidden away on VHS?

I'm currently collecting footage/goals from the 1997/98 season and I'm missing the following games:-

22/08/97 Man City 1 Tranmere 1 - Tranmere goal missing
26/08/97 Man City 1 Blackpool 0
18/10/97 Man City 0 Reading 0
29/10/97 Man City 1 Crewe 0
04/11/97 Man City 2 Port Vale 3
22/11/97 Man City 1 Bradford 0
10/01/98 Portsmouth 0 Man City 3
24/02/98 Reading 3 Man City 0
21/03/98 Man City 0 Sheff Utd 0
28/03/98 Bradford 2 Man City 1 - I have but very poor quality

Thanks
I have the goals from the City vs Reading and City vs Sheff Utd 0-0 games if that helps!!

He handed the ball to Mike Sharon who promptly put the ball down and squared it to someone who tapped the ball into the empty net. He was subbed by Reid last game of season against Neverton who beat us I think 5 2 in the end but he had a shocking first half. That said I think it was the wrong decision to take him off as he then had all summer to fester over it and wasn’t given the chance in the second half to redeem himself. He wasn’t even an average keeper even in the lower leagues and whilst he might be a nice bloke I can’t quite fathom how he had a career as a keeper coach

Does anyone have footage of City’s worst ever defeats? Just so I don’t have to start a new piss take thread like this one.

You’re clearly not a true fan just a glory hunter. So just to clear up that I collect all City games for my website. So If you have any footage please reply otherwise go and support Utd
