Oleksandr Zinchenko

Odd, but I'm much sadder about this than seeing Raheem or Gabby go. And they're both of them superior players. It's not about that.
He was such a likeable individual who was always there somewhere in the background and always stood up when called for. The leaving messages from both him and his wife are quite touching. Suppose he has left to be in the foreground now, I'll miss him though.

Just seen his farewell video and interview. Great lad, nice of him to talk of us in the way he did.

Always admired his work ethic. He was never really good enough to play for City but his determination made him fit in and not look out of place as a fill-in playing out of position.

Those sort of players are invaluable to a team m, and get a cult following in the fanbase.

Good luck in your new club Zinchenko. You will be missed, I used to call you Baby Kev but then after you scored a great goal I promoted you in my mind to Little Kev!! Daft I know but you are a fantastic player and a very caring man so all the best except when you play against us. :-)

Really sorry he's gone, people are showing rightly showing a lot of love to a player who has been an absolute credit to himself and the club, Like Jesus and Sterling, he's gone for more games and probably in his favorite position. Good luck to the lad.

Started at left-back in last night's friendly against Chelsea. With the likes of Odegaard, Smith-Rowe, Xhaka, Partey in their squad it's more than likely he'll be primary back-up to Tierney instead of Nuno Tavares. And with Tierney's injury record then he'll get plenty of games.

god bless Zinny
