Why does this guy waste himself at a shit rag like The Mirror?

The voice of reason on the sunday supplement.

Constantly asked in a sarcastic tone. "If you were Given would you go to Man City?" To which he replies yes and goes on to talk about how good our signings have been and how much he would of loved to of seen Kaka here.

Top bloke, why can't he fire Darren Lewis?

Shame the guy from the Sun is still peddling how desperate Robinho is to leave.

Apparently he has come back from Brazil early to give him more time to get the move through.

Who is that guy who seems convinced rob is going chelsea?

How does he know what rob is thinking! How many times has rob got to say he wants to stay! Without these prick journalists ignoring it and trying to throw our club into crisis.

And as for him coming back early did hughes not say and rob that he would be back in manc this weekend to prepare for newcastle.

Fucking hate these journalists who know nowt!

Tell me about it, even the presenter looked like he was trying not to laugh at him and tell him what a shit rag he works for.

McGarry from the Sun did not get one fact right but it didn't stop him spouting shit!!

I think what I found incredulous was the washing of their hands of how they've treated/ laughed at the club in general and then griped how it looks as if Hughes is going to get the push at the end if the season.

I thought to myself, well surely the type of drivel you've printed in the papers, constantly slagging off the club, the players and the manager, when on the other hand you whinge about giving a young British manager time, hasn't helped Hughes' position of staying.

I was shaking my head at the whole affair.

city want to tell the sun to fuck right off and if you print anymore shite we will have you in court
Bunch of tossers.
That guy on sunday supplement has wound me up big time yes u toss pot there is going to be a big name signing in the last week of the window ,i dont know who but i can bet that citys owners are not happy about losing kaka so they will want a replacement

Caught a part of this programme for the first time today when they happened to be talking about City. Thankfully this OH spoke calmly and reasonably about the goings-on but that guy from The Sun. What an obnoxious, sniping, slanderous individual he is. How do people like him get away this? It should not, by law, be allowed. Do we have a lawyer amongst our numbers?

To be fair to Oliver even when that McGarry fella said Hughes woul dbe gone he defended that by saying "as far as he understands the owners are fully behind Hughes" but also stated that may change with their lack of knowledge and the clamour in the papers.

The other thing that got Oliver spitting was the suggestion that Bullard was too good to have gone to Hull and was trying to get in why that was the case should all players only go to the supposedly big 4 and he just laughed at the suggestion that Micah and Robbie would be leaving in January.

Maybe like Martin Samuel, Holt thinks that City will be one of the big football stories in the next few years and he wants to be in the inner circle.

I wasn't knocking Holt. I mentioned no names, but chose the mentioning of papers in general. Although I didn't see the whole programme to put into context Holt's whole contribution, I'll say he's probably, at some point, been scathing of us, but has shifted position lately.

They've all done it, so nobody is innocent in Hack St.

I actually like Holt and have read a lot of his articles over the years. He's impartial and balanced on all things. It's just the Mirror that are a bastard of a paper and I can't read it anymore.

Maybe they are just good Journalists who actually research there articles and try to put forward a reasoned argument, whilst the other knobheads just recycle the same old shite guess work.

Used to be Oliver of The Times. At the time, I couldn't understand why he would leave the Thunderer for that chip wrapper but I suspect the answer might be to with £sp. He has never remotely had a pro-City bias, on the contrary, we have always, the present especially, been good story fodder and Oliver has oft joined in. I agree with a previous post that he has begun to see on which side his bread has been buttered, to go with his fourpennorth of chips wrapped in his own Mirror story!

Just watched the City bit of the Sunday Supplement on the Sky Sports website and yes, OH is very respectful to MCFC and our ambitions. Far different to what I remember last season.

That Ian McGarry fella though, he could play the the part of Billy Liar if they were to do a remake.

Sorry mate, I lost respect for most of the journalistic profession a long time ago. They have their agendas. Ian Ladyman who wrote a lot of positive stuff on City last season has been less than complimentary this season.

I will conced that OH was very measured on Sky this morning and Samuel wrote one of the best pieces on MCFC in a long time.
