The majority of the medalists trained in the north west and Manchester, so fitting we have the official parade, I am working on new quay st tomorrow but still ain't too worried about getting home any later, the old rd or hyde rd should be alright as it's the other side of town, people driving north or west however will probably suffer.

Why couldn't they have had the parade today?

I was well into the Olympics when it was on, but like many others I wont be traipsing into Manchester for this in the middle of October.
Rain forecast 4-6pm I see

They have waited far to long to do it,i don't understand why they didn't do it last month before they went from Rio to the championships

It's a pain hanging around for City for this sort of stuff sometimes, standing around for a couple of hours to see a group who I have no real connection with other than getting my taxes isn't my idea of fun. I enjoyed watching the games but this sort of stuff should have been done on a Sunday before it became chilly.

I'm sure the lemmings will be out but it'd be funny as fuck if it was the same crowd as the rags parade.

Wythy to Prestwich should be fun after work tomorrow. Think I'll see what sort of chaos the M60 (either bloody direction) can offer.

the moment has passed - should have had it in summer just after the games finished - to have it on a cold wet Monday afternoon when most people are at work and children at school will reduce numbers and the "keep everything in London" mob will have a field day

There's some miserable bastards on here nowadays, place is filling up with necrophiliacs and Victor Meldrews...

I'll be popping along to show my appreciation!
