Without being disrespectful to him, and this is probably a little simplistic, you could compare his most recent role to buying a car. You talk to the salesperson who can tell you all the technical stuff, plus has some idea of what the financial figures might look like.

Then you get passed to the business manager who nails down the money side and the sale contract. I reckon he was doing more of the business manager role. He wasn't the one who was compiling dossiers on the 5 best left backs in the world who are u-21.

And as me and others have said, with the Glazers holding the cheque book and Ratcliffe's team managing the football operations, he's going to be the servant of two masters, regardless of his title.

I really think they are setting themselves up (again). Anyway, I am not in the slightest bit perturbed about this. So we have lost one of our back room staff to another mud table club. So what.
Maybe it will stop some of the dirty tricks coming from them. Who knows? Mind you it hasn’t stopped Arsenal.

So funny how the Glazer keeps Milking the Golden Goose and still owns a major percentage of United
Glazer will now run a tight ship and Jim will only get what yearly revenue is left over after everything is taken out
last year and this year's revenue is down and United have made losses and debt grows so good luck Jim

I hope to God FFP is all over United accounts Because now based on revenues and losses and Jim's money sorry Glazers money
