Not remotely comparable. Applying a blanket statement to everybody because one signing hasn't gone as well as expected is daft and you know it. Would we decline the opportunity to bring back Cole palmer because you don't go back?

Not complaining about Mamoush either, I literally said I wouldn't be unhappy with him. I simply said I want us to go after the very best and if we can't get them and have to look a few rungs down the ladder, I'd sooner sign somebody on a free transfer and add that money to pursuing top targets in other areas. He's the replacement for Alvarez, so how Pep used him is probably a good guide.
