Omar Marmoush

Too much expectation but we already have plenty of attackers who know the drill so it isn't completely sink or swim.
What happens when Haaland gets injured? Do you want us to overwork him like we did with Rodri, only to risk a similar outcome? And what if KDB and Foden aren’t firing or aren’t fit—where is the creativity going to come from? You’re the one putting too many expectations on players who haven’t been consistent. It’s clear we’ve needed more goals since last season, and this season has highlighted the need even more.

Ray, let this happen, I really don't see any downside to it.

Or could backfire and the possibly the better targets would be available in the summer. As I said we are covered so there is slightly less pressure on him to perform from the get go
Okay, if you had to pick someone who might be a better target—let’s say they were mysteriously available—who would that player be?

Foden finished the season with 27 league goals as I keep stressing he is still capable.

If Doku and Grealish know the drill then that just highlights how desperately we need to upgrade on them. Grealish last scored for City in 2023. It’s 2025.
They can still contribute. Savinho has finally broke his duck. We other players who are well known to step up in the final stages of the season as well

Until he gets back to his capabilities, we need to keep pushing. Foden will catch up with the program once he’s found his form, and we’ve seen how lethal he can be when firing on all cylinders. So, having multiple goal-scorers from different positions on the pitch is a bad thing for you? Wouldn’t it actually provide us with more depth and variety in attack, making us less predictable and more difficult to defend against? We need more options, especially if we want to sustain consistent attacking pressure throughout the season.

Again give him time. It his first bad season but he is showing signs of improving his form. He has stepped up in the final stages of the season despite patchy form. I am not suggesting in not competing with Arsenal for his signature but I don't see a desperate need for another striker either

Sporting Lisbon's striker but again not available.
Pssssh.

Marmoush is versatile, technical, intelligent, creative, and excels at dribbling in tight spaces. A destroyer against low blocks. He can seamlessly fit into any system Pep decides to play.

Viktor, on the other hand, is a no.9, and nothing else. He is similar to Haaland. He’s not particularly technical, creative, or crafty. Pep would either have to change the system to accommodate both, or drop one—and I don't see Pep playing with two non-technical strikers in the same lineup. Viktor and Haaland both need space to thrive.
