Well, some of us are already familiar with Marmoush and see what he can bring to the table. So, it's not like we're "getting giddy" over nothing. Those who know his style of play and capabilities understand the excitement. He's a versatile, technically gifted player who can elevate the team's dynamics in multiple ways. His ability to adapt, create, and perform across different positions is exactly the kind of boost we need, making the anticipation entirely justified.

True, but I think with Bobb coming back we'll be OK in the forward areas until the summer if this didnt materialise (I hope it does btw as he looks like a really good player). I'd say our more pressing concerns are midfield and defence at the moment.

I mean I won't say no to a player with goals in him but these are all either on the counter (which we basically never have) or are free kicks (which he won't be given). If we are going to give up on Doku and Grealish then this makes some sense but it seems a very strange link to me and I don't see how it really helps us

I think the way to look at this is City have probably agreed personal terms with him and he wants the move.

Someone from his camp let it slip, and someone in Egypt misunderstood and jumped the gun saying it was done. which is why it spread as fast as it has.

You don't see how a wide attacking player with multiple goals and assists helps us when currently our combination of wingers combined have less than 5 goals and assists between them??
