Wouldnt be unhappy with him coming in but looks like a budget Musiala to me. I'd want to see us go all in for the real deal instead and if thats not an option then bring back Leroy on a free and stick the £60-80m into getting the absolute best in the business in other areas.

How is it horrendous? The club needs fullbacks and a CM at least and somehow the striker is the one we are most interested in. Especially one who will join in summer. Not only that we are interested in 2 CB who are most likely to be loan back despite us having an injury crisis. That’s makes no sense. Nuno Mendes might leave PSG yet we show no interest. Don’t even try with Davies for whatever reasons but we will look for another CB for the RB position just because of versatility. Just get a player for a position and that’s it. Gvardiol is wasted as LB and needs to back to being a CB.

At LB he has also been effective with goals and in attack.

Gvardiol will be fine once we get a defensive mid sorted and a right back.because he marauding forward it leaves gaps on his side.Hence why ake is now playing there.
