Fab not very reliable when it comes to city , seen plenty of people saying It done
But it’s not city he is getting details from

It’s clearly agent or someone from Frankfurt reporting. He may not be reliable for City bcoz we don’t feed him details doesn’t mean someone else won’t

lets hope he doesnt get injured he is playing for them tonight. last thing Pep wants now any newcomer coming and going straight to physio room.

I mean the people who are reporting that the deal is done is people like Purple Panel and FPLMaineRoad, would trust Fab a lot more than supposed "ITKs." Wouldn't be surprised if Frankfurt accept the bid after the game tonight though, we clearly put in a bid before the game not wanting him to play.

Honestly think this is done and Frankfurt just managing the exit. Big game for them tonight so no surprise he is playing prob saved us a few quid.

Expect news we have agreed a fee late Wednesday/thursday
No chance. Not saying this deal isn't happening or is off, but there is no way they would risk a player valued between £50-70m if the deal was close, big game or not.

He shouldn't be playing tonight if a fee has been agreed - he can walk round the pitch to says his bye byes. Only been there since August 2023. If he turns out any deal is way off and probably won't happen.

Why wouldn't they? They doesn't strike me to be desperate to sell, on the contrary they would probably be happy with him staying and are reluctantly accepting the players wish to leave.

It’s obviously going to happen.

Frankfurt are close to top 4 and don’t really want to sell.

He is very unlikely to get injured playing tonight and even if he did we are signing him for 5/6 years not 4 months.

Imo this is all being stage managed

I'm not saying the deal isn't on, I just don't think it's close. I don't think they'd risk the best part of £70m if this was nearly over the line.

Maybe you are correct. I'm just saying thats usually more the case if the club is desperate to sell, not when they would prefer not to sell. KDB and Dias are two examples of players still playing when its very close of being a done deal.

Either of us could be right pal. I tend to think of Sane to Bayern, the Lad wanted ot, Bayern wanted it, we didn't played him in the charity shield and next minute he's was out for the season. Things can change quickly in football.

They would if they weren't that bothered if he got injured and the deal was postponed until the summer.
So they lose there star player either way? Surely they prefer the scenario where they have 60m to replace him, than him being out for the season injured?

Not talking about an ACL , if he pulled something and missed a few weeks, we would probably still go ahead, if we didn't they wouldn't be too bothered keep him for the season and sell in the summer for the same price.

I hope you are right, and it is close, but just find it hard to believe it is with him still playing and the figures involved. FWIW I think the deal gets done, but like De Bruyne and Wolfsburg think Frankfurt will drag it out towards the end of the window and have their replacement in before it is done.

Off topic but was a strange life Fabrizio must live. Having to be first all the time.
Even more strange are the City fans who used to dismiss Fabrizio as a self promoting KFA, but now rate him as the most solid source in world football. What a difference a couple of years make! :-)

In today's decentralised newsosphere, it's all about being first. Being the first to be correct after the first tranche of ITK educated guesses, now holds little weight.

Personally, I'd prefer to wait until reliable sources materialise & report on actual developments, not ITK's presenting speculation as fact.
