Would prefer him not to if its that close.

Fab always seems to tap it in when it's basically a done deal, so if he's going hard with the 'it's going to happen' line as he seems to be, i'd be very surprised if it doesn't get done.Even more strange are the City fans who used to dismiss Fabrizio as a self promoting KFA, but now rate him as the most solid source in world football. What a difference a couple of years make! :-)
In today's decentralised newsosphere, it's all about being first. Being the first to be correct after the first trench of ITK educated guesses, now holds little weight.
Personally, I'd prefer to wait until reliable sources materialise & report on actual developments, not ITK's presenting speculation as fact.
City did with Sane for a Community Shield match although not to a deal it was clear he was leavingI'm not saying the deal isn't on, I just don't think it's close. I don't think they'd risk the best part of £70m if this was nearly over the line.
But when did he turn from "tap in" to "Nostradamus"?Fab always seems to tap it in when it's basically a done deal, so if he's going hard with the 'it's going to happen' line as he seems to be, i'd be very surprised if it doesn't get done.
In fairness, most claims/guesses seem to be that an agreement is 'close'. Rather than that there is one in place. If there was an agreement he wouldn't be playing in their fixture
As David Byrne once sang same as it ever wasIn fairness, most claims/guesses seem to be that an agreement is 'close'. Rather than that there is one in place.
Happens a lot. They play until he is contracted elsewhere even if everything is agreed. If there was an agreement he wouldn't be playing in their fixture
Too risky if it was that close. Could suffer a season ending injury in his final fixture at Eintract Frankfurt.Happens a lot. They play until he is contracted elsewhere even if everything is agreed.
This has happened with several of our successful transfers.I hope you are right, and it is close, but just find it hard to believe it is with him still playing and the figures involved. FWIW I think the deal gets done, but like De Bruyne and Wolfsburg think Frankfurt will drag it out towards the end of the window and have their replacement in before it is done.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him play tonight and take a medical here at the weekend.Too risky if it was that close. Could suffer a season ending injury in his final fixture at Eintract Frankfurt.
Again too risky. Either do not play if he is close to move or continue if there is no agreement. If he really wants to say goodbye then do it on the centre circle at halftime whilst watching in the stands.I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him play tonight and take a medical here at the weekend.
This seems to be the likeliest outcome. Frankfurt can do what they want with him until they’ve sold him.I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him play tonight and take a medical here at the weekend.
And risk injury? If he is close to the exit then he shouldn't be involved. This seems to be the likeliest outcome. Frankfurt can do what they want with him until they’ve sold him.
Yes, if they want to. It’s up to them. The 3 points may end up being cruicial for their CL qualification. And risk injury? If he is close to the exit then he shouldn't be involved.
Until deal is agreed he is not our player. And risk injury? If he is close to the exit then he shouldn't be involved.
And if he gets injured then I assume the deal is offUntil deal is agreed he is not our player.
And in the process lose transfer money too.Yes, if they want to. It’s up to them. The 3 points may end up being cruicial for their CL qualification.
