On A Lighter Note: The Poznan At West Ham

Must admit, I didn't go.(If your watching on the telly, your a.........)

The TV did show a small section of the away support doing the Poznan after the first goal. Didin't show the fans after the second and third goals.

After Stoke where almost all the away support did the Poznan, I was expecting that to happen again a t west Ham. Did it for the second or third goal?

Just interested.

BTW. Those that went, fair play. You sounded great. :-)

I was there and where I was standing almost everybody did the Poznan for all three of our goals and some of our fans did it for the WH goal as well.

It was excellent and the atmosphere for most of the game was great. There was one period where it was very strange and there was no singing/chanting and soooooo quiet I thought I had fallen asleep!! But for most of the match it was great.

Fair play Eccles Blue. The TV must have caught the tail end of the 1st Poznan then.

There was a quiet period in the 2nd half when West Ham were on top. The 1st half was basically non stop City song, and likewise after the 2nd and 3rd went in.

Respect to all those that went yesterday and gave such fantasic support.

I was near the front yesterday and stood on my chair for the 2nd Poznan and looked sideways and forwards and everywhere I looked people were doing it. MOTD showed the end of the first Poznan as they were too busy showing the goal half a dozen times. Looked to me though like everyone was doing it after each goal.

Frustrating to be honest, if this was shown en masse on match of the day, then the profile would be raised and fans everywhere would think, 'haha, mental them City lads!' Great day though, well done ladies and gents.

*lol* could have been I suppose but, as the Eccles OSC Branch will testify, I have stated quite categorically that I will not give my hard earned money to that shower so (along with Newcastle) that will be the only away match I will not be attending so don't know what the atmosphere is like there!!




(I hasten to add that as long as I can obtain tickets for the away matches I will attend!)

We were about half way up the stand to to left of the goal near the scoreboard and everybody around us was doing the Poznan for all 4 goals,
It's just mad and I love it.
