On Bluevibe that Steve Ireland has signed new 5 yr deal

I heard at lunchtime that he had signed his contract but was on strict instructions not to post anything! I didn't know that it was a five year deal. As for the Eto'o rumour heard that too plus apparently City are interested in Henry...personally, I'm not so sure we can attract those players but I'd like to see a big name player or two signed in the summer.

URG, was the Eto'o rumour from the same person you heard that Ireland had signed ?? I genuinely think that Eto'o is achievable. If he doesnt sign a contract extension very soon BArca wont risk him going into the last year of his contract, he has won trophies galore at BArca recently and may well fancy a new challenge, plus at 28 I think he has the pace and ability plus the experience that we need. Any thoughts on how good your source normally is ?
