We were bottom of the division on Xmas day, stayed up after Heath's winner at Norwich with several games to go. Think it was Mark Wards debut as well after Bish left.

I was at Maine Road watching us against Norwich.

My dad give me a tenner and said go and treat yourself to the match so off I went.
I had enough to get in, get a programme and bus fare home, ah happy days.

Anybody else remember what they did boxing day 1989?

And first time ever At the kippax and along story since with living in Manchester just to watch my team every game , and very good days in Manchester before back to Israel in 92
