One Defeat Away From Calamity - Could The Mirror Be Right?

there all waiting for us to go tits up, the only thing i,m worried about is hughsies lack of lets do it now, think we have got to aim higher never mind top six, i know its got to gel but if the players think the manager is going to be happy with that standard? sometimes people have to be pushed to take them to there limits?

Cheap story. Don't believe a word of it. For one thing, there's two thirds of the season left in the race for the top four slots, plenty of time to find some real form and confidence. For another, Liverpool are on the edge of crisis because they need the results to pay the bills, unlike us. Lastly, Hughes probably couldn't get himself sacked before the end of the season if he tried.

They have drawn five successive games – four of them against teams that any side with top-four pretensions would expect to win.

Chelsea Lost to Wigan & Villa
Liverpool lost to Fulham, drew with Brum
Rags lost to Burnley.

I'm sure these teams expected to win, does that mean they won't finish top 4?

Good point
