I am far from being a moaner and looking at the stats it shows signs of encouragement but we cannot disguise our current away form. You can argue that most of our defeats are down to individual error and not complete dominance from the home team but 4 points away 18 is grim reading. Still there is time for us turn that around.

Who have they compared the Hull and Cardiff games to? Obviously not our results against reading and wigan (12pts from 4)

But some teams are better, some worse. Every season is different. You play teams at different stages of the season, with different weather conditions, with teams and players in different form, with new players or different injured/suspended to years past...there's no comparison to be made, not in this way or comparing our first 11 games of last season or our title winning season. Everything is different.

It is surprising that we have more points. So surprising that I was said enough to check and yes indeed it is correct. 19 pts vs 16 in the same fixtures last year.
However, that does include a loss at home to Norwich last season - a game we effectively just threw away because the season was over and we couldn't be arsed.

Yes. 1st in division 2 swaps with 18th in last years premier league. 2nd with 19th, playoff winner with 20th.
We have made up points from Norwich (3), Rags (3) and Everton (2) and West Ham (2) away. Dropped points at Cardiff (3), Villa (3) and Chelsea (1) away.

A bit soft, a bit lacking in fight.
We need to change the mindset of the lesser teams when we visit them to "we'll give it a go but don't expect too much. There'll be a better chance next week".
They already seem to think this when at our place so let's get them looking at our visit with dread not relishing it.

I agree. Incidentally, here's a quote from the Spurs forum:
