blue b4 the moon said:Went to visit on Tuesday afternoon at Blackppol Victoria and had a good chat with my dad about all sorts. He was on oxygen and in a bad way. He asked me to bring him in a radio so he could listen to the game. He also insisted that whatever happened I must go to the game. Told him I'd give City an extra loud shout for him.
After leaving him I spoke to the doctor who said he was really poorly and didn't have long left.
At 23.00 I had a call from a Policeman who was with my mum to tell me he'd passed.
I did go to the game as he wished but my heart really wasn't there.
As least it was quick and he didn't suffer too much which is a blessing with Cancer.
