one man teams

It really is a fallacy.

Even Messi, fake or Kun couldn't play against 11 opponents on their own and expect to come anywhere near winning.

From whom would Sergio have received the ball last night, if he were the only City player on the pitch?

Boateng and Alonso? :D I see what you did there!

I think people are going a bit OTT saying Aguero is a one man team, certainly not, although he is carrying them a bit lately

I bet Madrid will try to bid for him in the summer and use Benzema as the bait. 50m + Benzema

and what if he'd been sent off on 90 mins. we'd have drawn 2-2 and still been in the same boat for roma. so really we dont even need aguero these days we are that good.

The Media really do make me laugh with the dross they come out with.

Apparently we are a one man team :)
As usual the press do not let the facts get in the way of a lazy story to appeal to the droning rag masses & Twitter generation. Annoys me tbh how people cannot watch football & make their own judgements & incite without repeating like a parrot the idiotic media soundbytes...

Here are some FACTS to blow their stupid comments out of the water>

City won the league & a Cup last season with 4 players scoring over 20 goals, Aguero was one of them granted but he was out for half the season, literally.

The top strikers/goalscorers cost top money because they make the difference in the big games & in a sucessful campaign in whatever competition.

Without Suarez Liverpool would not have challenged for the league title.

Without RVP, Utd would not have won the league in 2012/13.

The reason Barca & Real are two of the best teams in world football is because Messi & Ronaldo make the difference.

Also because the media jizz in their pants over anything Mourinho related they conveniently forget to mention without Costas goals Chelsea would not currently sit top of the league.

Like i say the media remit with City is ignore the facts & slag us off so the morons on social media can lap it up like a thirsty dog in a desert.

United and Liverpool are not the best arguments against one man teams, because Liverpool kind of were as much as any team can be. United weren't but RVP was the difference.

Madrid and Barca have the best players in a number of positions over the years. Over the last 5 years of so Barca have had the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Zlatan, Etoo, Puyol, Neymar, Suarez and Alves all being the best or close to the best in the world for their position. That's not even factoring other world class players like Sanchez,Fabregas, Pique, Busquets etc. Madrid have had Ramos Casillas, Pepe, Varane, Marcelo, Modric, Kroos, Bale, Ozil, Benzema etc. With or without Roanldo/Messi they would still be in the top teams in the world.

The media do love to exaggerate 'one-man' teams. City are certainly no where near a one man team, but Aguero is putting in unbelievable performances and overshadowing everyone else. He is the best player the league has seen since Ronaldo. Hell when talking about levels at their peak he is in the top 5 in Premiership history and I am struggling to name anyone better except for Ronaldo and Henry. Maybe Drogba out of the attacking players and maybe Stam, Vidic, Ferdinand, Scholes and Vieira in other players, but not for me.

Liverpool and Dortmund last season were as close to 'one-man' teams are you are going to get, yet even then it was Sterling that gave Liverpool that final push to get close to the title.

We played Newcastle once in the 70's when it seemed like City V Malcolm MacDonald. We only just won.
