The team selections confirm to me the team management priorities, We have targets each year and I am sure this year the target is to deliver the Premier league title.
The team selections back this up in my opinion, dont panic on the back of one defeat also remember the priorities when you see the team at Arsenal next week.
Priorities are get 4 points from anfield/stamford bridge and beat Norwich. The press will be gunning for us to faulter but all stand strong together.

Sorry to say, but you are wrong about the priorities. Bobby Manc clealy stated that whilst last season, getting into the Champions league was vital, this season, getting to the knock out stages of the CL was one of the primary aims, which he said so in the press conference.

Winning the premiership was not a priority, though of course a welcome bonus. Improving to 2nd or 1st, another piece of silverware and progress to the knock out stages of the CL. THOSE WERE THE CLEAR GOALS AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS SEASON. As far as I was concerned, the game tonight was as good as a cup final for us in so much as it should have been all out massive attacking action and not going back to the defensive posturing of last season. A win would have guaranteed taking the game against Bayern in a relaxed manner and taking the opportunity to rest players in a period of fixtures coming thick and fast. And Bobby Manc blew it by going back to the old ways of last season with his defensive hat on and thinking that a draw would be fine.
POOR DECISION MAKING

defensive hat on ??? you must be joking

So if we win the league this year we haven't achieved our target then? Because we went out the CL at the group stage?

If that's a bad season I'd fucking take it!

The Premier League has always been and will always be our main priority, everything else is a bonus.

Not according to our Manager..............

The sky is pink.

Now you see, because I said the sky is pink, it automatically means the sky genuinely is pink. Because, you know, it's actually scientifically impossible for anyone to say something which isn't true, just for the effect of making other people think it is true.

QED, the sky is pink.

No offence mate but if he had his defencive hat on and didn't go for the win, why did he play both Mario and Edin and leave Barry on the bench? He also played Zabba and Kolorov, more defensive fullbacks so we could try and attack in the opositions half but always coverd at the back.Had we have gone with 1 upfront and 5 in midfield we may have done better, but Edin wasn't mobile enough and Nigel seemed out of sorts(give Napoli credit for Nigels below par performance though, they played around him and he got isolated). We defo went for the win though, as the game went on maybe we our strategy and looked for a draw!

Thing is, this was a must win game tonight why didn't he play his strongest team ? I just don't understand this and its cost us big time. He's now put himself and the team under pressure for Sunday.

I would have taken Defensive Mancini from last season if it got us the win tbh.

Hell id take it in the ass of a rather large man doing life for the crime of multiple anal rape if it got us the win.

When you are no longer able to sit down to watch the game (as a consequence of the above) can I have your seat?
