unconfirmed reports it said on talksport that he's fallen out with the chairman.
INTERESTING
How would you lot feel with him at City?

to be honest with a lot of money and a bigger squad i think he'd do well at a club like city.
problem is i think he's a bit of a twat.

Re: Oneill gone

Probably Bollocks from the Bookies so everyone rushes out to put money on him being the next gone. It's happened a few times this season hasn't it with Benitez and Twitcher?

Bloody hell if this is true its huge. Where will he end up next? Dippers? Back to Celtic??

Possibly us? Id definitely have him if Mancini goes

I cannot think of anything worse. I cannot stand him for a start let alone his 'style' of football.

Re: Oneill gone

I'll wait for the confirmation before I believe it. Terrible timing if so. (for them)

Why?

Why what? Why would I have him IF Mancini goes?

He has a track record of building successful teams and I think thats what we really need. We don't necessarily need someone who is experienced at managing big clubs we need someone who can build a club and a team up and get them performing above their usual station.

He's had a fortune at Villa and won nothing

He might think your a bit of a twat if he ever met you

;)

that may be the case but i don't run down the touchline like a twat and moan like a wanker at everything.

he got Leicester to a few finals and victories at a time when football was not at the standard it is now, (mid 90's). Then he went to Scotland and so whatever he did there can be counted as null as far as i'm concerned because its a nothing league and whilst it was slightly more competitive when he was there than what it is now, it still comes minus 50 out of a million in comparison to the PL. Besides, Villa don't look great do they? They went out of Europe early both this season and last especially. I'd be gutted if we got him.

They have a one dimensional style of football. Get it to the wings and whack into the box. I'd hate him at our place......Probably bullshit anyway so I don't have to worry.

Would you say he has done that with Villa? They have always been 6-11th place and with the money he has spent I don't think he has done a great job. Celtic? Hw won the league but so what, UEFA cup final is a good acheivement but its a cup competion at he end of the day and he hasn't repeated it. Leicester? yes he did a great job but how long ago was that?

He has had money at Villa but still nothing compared to what the Sky4 have had to spend while he has been there. I know hes yet to win anything there but as we all know its pretty difficult to win anything in England these days without breaking into the top 4 group first and he has managed to come pretty close to that despite not having our resources

I'm not suggesting that we sack Mancini just because he might now be available but should Mancini leave to go back to Italy or should the board decide he isn't the man for us then in my opinion O'Neil would be a big contender for the job. The only person I would actually have ahead of him would be Van Gaal
