I can't order anything in the shop. Any browser is giving me errors... I was about to order via phone but then I get two kits via eBay... and much much cheaper (BNWT) sorry City but I'm not beta testing your shop.

I have never been able to buy anything off there, apparently they dont have a security certificate, that will allow me to use my danish credit card on there.

Very strange in imo.

Any you cannot buy the kits anywhere else other than direct from City. If they cannot cater for overseas fans, how are we supposed to expand as a club?

My final comment on the subject before i eat my Black Pudding Madras.-------For a club that wants to become a major force in world footie or a 'market leader' as Gary Cook would say---the online shop is so bloody amateur ,with a limited rang of products and is not user friendly[as they say nowadays]-----. Out of curiosity i've looked at Championship sides sites[and lower] and many are are better that City's.
So City--get your finger out!

a complete and utter joke, i ordered an item, didn't see anything for 2 weeks, decided to contact them, they eventually found my order, only to tell me it was out of stock and refunded me.

i then looked the next day, and they were then selling the same item, same size etc so i contacted customer services who confirmed they had the item, and if i placed my order i would be ok, which i did, sure enough nothing turned up, so i contacted them and sure enough it was out of stock, i then looked at the website, and replaced the said item with another and was told no problem, another week passes and i get an email saying the replacement item is out of stock.

whoever is organising this complete shambles needs sacking, because i would never touch the online shop again, it must be run by imbeciles is my only conclusion.

apart from the limited availability and limited range, i'd say the interface is good enough. in fact better than other PL clubs.

so far ive bought a few dozen t-shirts, the kit and other stuff there. also bought stuff for my newborn but the range is limited. a danger of the online shop in not being prepped up for international market is that IF, or maybe WHEN, city becomes a name and the new fans (or perhaps gloryhunters?) start to pour from the crevices of Asia, I can assure that it will generate more loss than income from all the fake merchandise sold here that are twice the price.

sort it out City, the bit where authentic merchandising can be made easily available to international fans.

if not, suffer the same fate of the sky4 where their fakes flourish in this market. though i busted my stitches laughing yesterday passing the dozens of stalls selling scum schoolbags and towels, i fear that we might face the same predicament if

1. we sell expensive merchandise like the scum
2. we limit access to international customers.

It should be a simple operation to exclude items, temporarily, if they are out of stock. My son bought a Superman tee-shirt for Father's Day last year. It never turned up, emails later they find the order and it's out of stock by then. They sent a replacement (which arrived) a size bigger with a reduction on the price. The service should be as good as any internet site in the world. This is often the port of call for a lot of fans and if it's gash you only get one impression, and it's not the one we should have on public display.
