It's more Sky shitting on football fans in general. The OS says it moved because:
The change comes about because Sunderland's fourth-round FA Cup tie takes place on the preceding Sunday, so they cannot play their scheduled Barclays Premier league game against Norwich 48 hours later on the Tuesday.

This game was selected for broadcast on Sky in the UK, as was Everton-City, so to ensure that both fixtures could still be shown on television, the respective fixtures were swapped with City now playing on the Tuesday and Sunderland now facing Norwich on the Wednesday.
 
as much as it feels hypocritical changing fixture because sunderland cant play two games in 48 hours but we were made to against liverpool i think it benefits us..
everton now have to play 3 days after their FA Cup match and we still have 6 days rest after our carling cup second leg so if anything it could work in our favour

also gives us an extra day before our next match so if anything it works for us..
