Only Click This Thread If You Think We'll Beat United

We're on fire at the moment and the rags have that element of doubt, being 4 points off the leaders with 4 to play. They absolutely have to win it and hope Chelsea slip up at Spurs. So there will be plenty of space for us to play in and that suits us, plus their central defence is suspect against pace, so Ade & Bellers should have a field day.

One of the rags biggest strongpoints down the years has been their ability to bounce back from a defeat (or two!) , and that in itself makes them dangerous opponents for ourselves ..... and especially if they HAVE to win!

We CAN win this , but only if were prepared to battle for ninety minutes , keep things tight , don't make stupid mistakes , and close them down ...... this is one side you can't afford to stand off , and let them play football.

Even if Rooney doesn't make it they still have players who can hurt opponents , and they still have the belief that they can get something out of every game ......... we have to match that belief , or we'll come a cropper!

I think we WILL win ..... but only by the odd goal.

I went to the Spurs game at WHL with a Spurs fan and he said that was the best game they played all season, i doubt they'll emulate it again especially with us having more about us this time

I had a dream last night that we were winning 8-0, I didn't want to wake up! I honestly think we're going to destroy those silly little green and yellow rags on Saturday, from what I've heard from some rags a few are delusional, they still think they have a great chance of winning the league (when I hear them say that that's when I lose my attention as we all know Chelsea have that pretty much wrapped up, so if they think that they obviously don't deserve an opinion on the derby), some are nervous as they are beginning to realise without Rooney they have a very, very slim chance of getting anything and some are just plain scared. On the other side I've been talking to fellow Blues and I have never seen or heard us so up for a derby before, everyone I've spoke to seems to genuinely think that we are going to give them the biggest beating they've ever had and I so hope we do. If we do we probably won't see any rags for a good month or two!

I am unusually optimistic about this one. I am hoping for one of the legendary 3-1, 4-1, 5-1 type results.

Plus I am taking the missus who has never seen us lose in the ten seasons since she started going a couple of times a season.

I had a dream also. I came on because Ireland got injured. I scored a screamer! But i also scored an own goal which rooney claimed. Then i got subbed off, so i sat with my dad in the croud(sp?), but i dont no why but Boyata was sat their too. But in the end we won......... I think anyway.
