All of a sudden I'm getting a really irritating pop up bar at the bottom of the screen saying this every time I open a new thread on bluemoon. Any ideas how I can stop it?

I am getting it as well and it's really annoying me now -been two days. I also need the answer in language that a complete IT technophobe will understand.

Could you let me know what browser you are using so I can look into it?

What does that mean Ric? - I put the Laptop on, click favourites from MSN homepage or Google and then click on Bluemoon and I am off.

Sorry, that should have read "browser" - are you using IE, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari?

I think it's on Internet Explorer.

It's one of the ads causing the problem, but it's nothing to worry about as the content isn't malicious. I'll flag it with the ad company, but in the meantime it's only affecting IE9, so you can either use a different browser, or change the settings in IE:

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tool menu, click Internet Options.
3. Click the Security tab, and then click Custom level.
4. In the Settings box, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section, and under Display mixed content choose from the following options:

Disable, will not display non-secure items.
Enable, will always display non-secure items without asking
Prompt, will prompt you when a webpage is using non-secure content

I've just noticed that some of the fonts were looking a bit weird in IE9 as well, but if you refresh your browser that problem should be fixed now.

Apologies for the inconvenience.
