didn't The Vonk make his debut as sub vs Forest and put a certain Mr Pearce over the advertising boards? and if memory serves me right Phsyco never ventured over the halfway line for rest of the match.... or is my memory playing tricks...?

I can rememeber us cheering him when he was yellow carded as soon as he came on for that tackle. Endered him to us straight away.

george heslop, mick doyle, and i believe t.c. could be a hand full

highest pain threshold has got to be shaunie!
he just gets up after being sent spinning through the air and landing with a thump.he is too honest and needs some protection from referees.he is everything van persil is not

At the time I thought the chant was "Ooh Vonky Wonky", ala "Ooh Curley Wurley"??

Two memories of him. Diving in where others daren't to stab a ball home to put us 2 up at QPR in a cup tie (all time favourite away game), then diving head first into the crowd. In the car after some London radio station was replaying the goals commentary "and its Vonk with the bonk that hits QPR in the honk"? Looking back it had to be a young Jonathon Pearce when he was seriously manic.

Then I'm sure he played and scored as a centre forward in an abandoned game at Maine Road.

Ipswich I think. We've had about 8billion games abandoned against them.
