Open day today

Makes me laugh the reporter saying "they expected hundreds, but thousands have turned up, they'll fill the bottom tier and then go up if they have to"

Calm down man, there won't be any more than half the bottom tier full.

:D

6 or 7 thousand haha

SSN are the masters of overhyping.

The free concert, The open day with the match on the big screens and todays open day just shows what a special club we are. I am 37 and seen us do nothing. I cant wait for the season to start. Gutted cant be there today but perks of working away during the week

Hi, sorry to bother you all but I drive the Sunshine bus for the East Manchester Mencap branch.

Unfortunately I've misplaced two of my passengers somewhere in the Beswick area. One was a frizzy haired kid in a black hoody and the other was a lumbering 6 toed 6 footer in a red top with drool down it.

The big one will probably mumble something about leaving something in a crowded public area, please don't take this seriously. Keep an eye out for them, you may spot them clapping their feet.

Thanks

Newlunar the soupspooner.

Just leaving now. Plenty there, I'm not much for crowd estimates but I'd think 5k+ easy. Bit too noisy for the younger kids, and my 1 year old let me down by applauding Les and Bellamy wildly. Still a good day out.

the thing is the sky reporter was telling lies, i have been twice to an open day when john wardle was the chairman and each time there were approx 3000, what a twat saying that only a couple of hundred turned up, but then hes got to make this look special as there s not much real news around at the moment
