Open letter to us from a Chelsea fan!

Fuck 'em all, Fuck 'em all
Come on you Blues Fuck 'em all
We will never be mastered
By any red bastards
Come on you Blues Fuck 'em all

At the first instant after the takeover I was hoping we could somehow do it different than Chelsea and be more popular, I've supported City for a long time and didn't want to be disliked or felt that we could be HATED? (hated? how shit is that?)

As time passed I came to realise that the media won't always print happy stories about us and infact found that 70-80% were negative or worse lies, so in all honesty I think having a closed shop is the only way forward. You can't make an omelete without breaking a few eggs so they say.

It's a good letter and advice we should all take.

I've also started to have more compassion for the long term Chelsea fans who must be totally pissed of with the negative jealousy that surrounds there club.

That's what makes people sick of Chelski thier fans smugness and trophies at any cost attitude!
As I've said on here I've always liked City but after our recent encounter in the cup and witnessing the smugness of some fans it def seems City are fast becoming another Chelski which imho is only bad for football!!!!

Was gutted to see United win in the last minute however as many fans of United and Liverpool say money can't buy class which is why Chelski have none, long live their Champions leauge failures!!
Even as Londoner I was chuffed to see them fluff in thier final even if it was against Untied who's fans I hate with a passion!

Great letter. We already have closed ranks in my opinion. i now love to be the most hated club, as there only Jealous and scarred as the press have associations with Rags, Liverpool, Chealsea & Asenal. maybee some editors are looking for city links! We are only going to get better as our resource is the biggest and the tallent in the chairman and the management team to get things done and improve everything at the club is the best in th world.

Very good that, it does take some getting used to, every loved us when we not a threat!

Dear City fans,

I felt compelled to write another letter to follow up my previous one warning you guys of the pitfalls and the potential drivel you'll be exposed to among the football fraternity.

I am sure you are all sick to the back teeth of the way your club is being depicted by certain sections of the media, rival fans, but believe me it will be well worth it when you actually land your first bits of silverware.

You see life isn't going to get any easier, as there will always be that jealous element who it would seem would rather see you fail than actually care about how their actual sorry football clubs are doing. You won't be able to change their perception, so I don't know why I read so many City fans trying their damndest to try and justify themselves and the long term ambitions of the club on message boards and sites - my message to them is to just leave it and rather than worry what other folk are thinking, just savour the moment and this excellent football team that is being constructed by Mark Hughes. Closing ranks is what we did at Chelsea and in many ways that is what you should be looking to do at City now.

I know it is hard to take, especially for a club who has had its fair share of hardships over the years to see rivals take a swipe at your current good fortune, but do you really care what they think? Mark Hughes was spot with his assessment that there is an obvious fear factor towards Manchester City and that hasn't come due to you guys having a huge bank balance, but more to what you are doing on the pitch. The performance against Arsenal, a game where the media were predicting that you would get your comeuppance and knocked down to size, finally saw them wake up as City sent a message that pre-season talk of top four finishes and a challenge for the title might have actually have some substance and that could become a reality. That is why they chose to concentrate on the negatives from the game, rather than focus on the positives. It takes a brave man to admit they are wrong, unfortunately that it something that the majority of gutless hacks aren't.

So I'll end this letter once again by telling you lot to stop giving a rat's arse about what other jealous beings are saying and just focus on your own football club and getting behind it. You'll never going to change their perception, so why waste your breath in trying to do so. They are insignificant at the end of the day and why they'll continually sit there as their own club swims in a sea of mediocrity, you'll be sailing in the high seas with the other big boys challenging for honours. It may not happen for you this season, but you are certainly not far behind.

Yours sincerely

Joe Sutton (A rather content and success spoilt Chelsea fan)

Nice one!

And if any of us was in any doubt whatsover about the way we are perceived by the media and The FA along with UEFA, surely last Sunday dispelled all doubts!!

Fuckerson has the FA in his arse pocket and has had them there for years now, i for one will never acknowledge his knighthood, despite my total respect for Her Majesty and the Realm! He should do the right thing and pass it on to someone who actually deserves it, none other than our very own Mr Joe Mercer = LEGEND !!

Well I, for one, am quite enjoying the infamy. I really couldn't give a flying fuck about being 'liked', the more they dislike us, the better in my view, because it probably means we're winning more games and buying more and better players that the likes of United, Liverpool, Arsenal et al just can't afford. What I'm really, really really looking forward to though is rubbing that Jock cnuts nose it it along with his players and their arsewipe supporters.I just hope that we do it before Bacon face either retires or, preferably, dies in service live on Sky Sports HD.

I personally like Chelsea as a club, there are too many parallels between us now and them 4 or5 years ago to ignore. We've both kind of upset the apple cart and caused worry for clubs that see themself as having some kind of prestige above the rest. Chelsea have silenced their detractors a lot with success, but they really need to win the CL to rubber-stamp their arrival into the elite. I don't cheer on other English clubs in the CL as a matter of course (in fact as far as the rags and scousers are concerned, I'll alaways cheer for whoever their up against) - but I hope Chelsea win it this year.

And I hope we can soon vindicate ourselves in the same way Chelsea have so far, by winning titles and cups.

Probably the first honest outside view of the club I've read. Fair play to him.

Makes me laugh when our lads are labelled 'mercenary', I think most fans are under the impression that their own players play for the love of the club and any wage is a bonus whereas our lads only play for money. Unless it's the rags in which case they all think they are playing for their 'history'. Nob heads.

That banner at Palace made me laugh. I laughed more when 25m Tevez scored though to seal their fate. Tossers.
