Will city at any stage sell tickets to the public without a match day membership? Even if they only sell half the stadium for the league cup ? I haven’t renewed mine this year but I wouldn’t mind going to a caribau cup game

I’d say it’s unlikely as the club want to encourage fans to renew or buy memberships. There will be plenty for sale on here closer to the game so just keep your eyes peeled.

EDIT - if you check the Watford thread there’s already a few popping up.

Only when we get fucked off to the conference league and all the pretend City fans go back to supporting Arsenal and Chelsea.

Am I wrong in assuming that Joe Public can just get tickets from here without being a ST Holder or a member etc?

Yep, no need to have a membership to buy from Livefootball, watch out though as about an extra 30% is added as a fee just before check out. Still good prices for Brentford. Annoyingly, you also don't need the 5 game purchase history to buy off them for Arsenal, Liverpool and United...Those rules are just for us!

Thanks for the reply. I haven't been to the Etihad for a long time , think I'm what's known as a FOC on here, even allowing for the huge prices (for a pensioner) I can't be doing with all the compexities of Memberships/Apps/points systems etc and the sheer hassle of getting to the ground and parking these days. Last time I went was an FA cup game, must be five or six years ago someone bought me and my partner tickets as a birthday present. I guess if I was younger and in better health I might think about it. When I was a lad and going to Maine Road you didn't get to see the game unless you were there (maybe some of it now and again on Match of the Day) but nowadays it's easy to watch the games on TV and with a big screen, sound surround and a couple of beers it's not that bad an option!

Hi, sorry to bump a 2 week old thread but I don't have enough posts to make a new thread.

I emigrated from the UK a few years ago, but will be coming back for a couple of weeks this Christmas. Obviously I don't have a membership or anything like that as I'm overseas. The only game I've ever seen City play live is the super cup against Seville last year, but the ticket was bought through the UEFA website so I don't have a purchase history with City or anything like that.

The time I'll be in the UK, City are at home for Everton (boxing day) and West Ham (January 4th). Is there any chance that these tickets will be open to those without a membership at any point? Or is it likely not going to happen?

Very unlikely that it will go to general sale so you will need to buy a membership to be able to buy from the club. Or you can register for a free supporter number and buy from someone on here. Tickets are bound to crop up closer to the games.

Alright cheers. Will try grab a ticket on here later the time.

Hey everyone,
Apologies if I’m replying on the wrong thread.
I’m really just hoping for some advice here. I’m new to this community, hence I can’t post in my own.
So basically I don’t live in the UK, but my partner moved there last year, and he's a massive Man City fan(since he was maybe 14). He’s been working super hard, balancing uni and two jobs.
One of his dreams has always been to attend a Manchester City game, especially one against Manchester United but unfortunately ever since he’s moved he hasn’t been able to do much for himself. I’ve been saving up to surprise him with a ticket to the December 15th match as a birthday present—I know it would mean the world to him. But as someone trying to buy from outside the UK, I’ve had no luck finding available tickets, the prices are daunting, and I really don’t know who to trust online. However, I am determined to find them. I checked on the website, had a friend call the Etihad stadium, checked reseller, and searched Reddit until it led me here.

I was hoping maybe someone here could point me in the right direction or suggest a trustworthy ticket reseller that won’t cost a fortune. I'd ideally love to get two tickets so he could take a friend. I’d also appreciate any insights on what basic seats might cost if I’d bought them directly from the club, and what I should expect to pay for a resale ticket.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really don’t want to risk getting scammed, so I’m counting on the help of fellow City fans!
