Open-top bus parade (Monday 23rd)

What a wonderful vlog that was. I wasn't intending to watch it all the way through, but the interview with the man at the beginning, where he was talking about his son having a 'shunt' fitted to drain fluid from his brain really got to me.
My youngest grandson had fluid on the brain at birth and he came so, so close to having to have that operation.
Here's hoping they get many more opportunities to go to games together and see City lift many more trophies.
Come on City!
That bloke rabbiting on about the Thomas Cook trophy. Priceless.

Really good to see that they can rip into each other without concern.

The Bernardo/Grealish double act was great:

Grealish: "second important choice was getting Bernardo off, he was miles off"
Bernardo: "third point was leaving Grealish on the ****ing bench"

The jibe about Mahrez playing like Almiron was unnecessary though.

I’m definitely one for the football banter. Love seeing this and the bond that happens in a changing room. Bernardo is very very dry and witty though.

I think jack got a little carried away though but easy to forget he’s just won his first major trophy so maybe a little bit over exuberance can be excused.

The almirion comment was a little bit uncalled for though.

Thought yesterday was great, minor points would be the milking out of players on stage twice, took forever. Also sweet Caroline again, just not a fan in general but gets everyone going I suppose. I have my thoughts on ederson as a goalkeeper, but fuck me what a cool guy that is

There are grown men on twitter comparing parades

I don’t think it was as well attended as previous parades but at least we got one. Will be piss funny if the Scouse hordes come out in their millions to celebrate two domestic cup wins. Do your job Madrid.

RAWK has already had posts comparing what there’s will be to ours. It’s fucking embarrassing is that. Actually comparing parades.

They need to be careful. If they get beat by Real Madrid, their parade might not be as well attended as they might expect. We had all this back in 2011 when United fans were ragging us about our FA Cup parade (which was actually very well attended). A couple of weeks later they had the most pathetic turnout ever for their title parade. The thread on here about it was probably one of the funniest ever. And who could forget Wedderburn talking to that journalist on SSN and coming out with that classic: "I heard Deansgate was almost 1 deep in places!"

Mike Wedderburn said that.
