Both cups won on penalties too. And i hope Madrid destroy them.I hope Madrid beat them in the dying minutes, or even better on penalties. After all this hype they end up with two domestic knock out cup wins.

The penalty shootout double, the most coveted of all the doubles. Will be piss funny if the Scouse hordes come out in their millions to celebrate two domestic cup wins. Do your job Madrid.

Those who were there will remember, but I'm convinced her speech after the 3-2 defeat to United in the FA Cup went some way to winning us the league that year. We lost the game but we knew we'd scared them, so a few thousand were still hanging about in City Square about 15 mins after full-time instead of just going home. Spirits were good. And then Natalie gave a proper rallying speech to the crowd about how afraid United were that we were coming for their title and that we were going to take it off them. Think those of us who'd stayed behind in City Square went home feeling that little bit more defiant and that little bit more confident that we could do it.Got to love Natalie Pike, remember her first being interviewed about City years ago, proper bitter and twisted City fan, like the rest of us, on tunnel cam when Balotelli scored that last minute pen against Spuds she was running around hugging people, proper blue and very bright.

The reason that Liverpool and United fans can't stop going on about crowd sizes is because the vast majority of them chose their club BECAUSE they were the biggest. They are totally different people to the vast majority of us blues bacuase, in most cases, the club chose us and not the other way around. We were brought up to love and embrace our underdog status, not brag about how enormous we are like an insecure kid.RAWK has already had posts comparing what there’s will be to ours.
