Open Training 12/08 & possible movements from 3rd tier for Chelsea game

As we await confirmation of the success of the above test event, we are asking a number of Seasoncard holders whose seasonal seat is located in South Stand Level 3, including you, to provisionally select an alternative seat in the stadium for the Chelsea match.

You are not releasing your Seasoncard seat at this time. You will only be relocated to your chosen alternative seat if approval is not received after the test event. Your choosing of an alternative seat is a precautionary measure, and we appreciate your support and co-operation with this process.

Your window to select from any available seat in the stadium is open from 9am, Thursday 23 July until 5.30pm on Friday 24 July.

Bollox, Lol, cheers

so if its not safe yet why are they asking me for £3 to risk my life? im very startled at this.

Not sure if taking the piss, but I'll bite ;)

They did something similar when the stadium opened with an England women's match. The certificate is a fire safety one, and to show that they can empty a certain number of people within a target time I believe. The structural safety will already have been signed off by a site foreman and a council pencil pusher I would have thought!

looks like there are some seats which are 'at risk' of not getting the safety certification in SS L3 - presumably round the edges - they won't need to reserve 5,000 seats out of teh rest of the stadium - a few hundred at most I would have said - still think we'll get up to 54,000 against Chelsea

To help, am going to be Row A of 315 & have had the open training e-mail but nothing in regards to relocating!

Oh so it's like that is it, you pay 600 odd sheets for row A and don't have to move yet I pay £380 on row U of the same block and will be expected to up sticks to the Colin Bell or East stand?!!!

City looking after the money men yet again ;-)
