Discussion in the pub. I say he was shite and cost us points (where as Schmeichel won us points)
Mate remembers him as decent.

This on the back off our agreement that we've generally had pretty decent keepers since Corrigan

We took a gamble getting Schmeichel at the end of his career and it was an inspired move. Keegan tried the same gamble a year later with Seaman and it failed badly. He was terrible for us, although I seemed to recall he was hampered by injury and that eventually caused him to call it a day.

I remember walking to school one day with 2 good friends of mine it was about October time and I said "David Seaman will retire in January" and they both laughed and slated me that day.....

January came walking to school with the same 2 lads and I got an apology that day from both......

Why am I telling you this story? Because that was the only satisfying thing I gained from David Seaman's time at City.....

True Story!

Agree with you - the one thing that stands out in my memory is that he COST us points

Pretty much how I remember it.
