Liverpool's team and set up looks better, but Rodgers has seemingly been conned out of a signing in as I doubt he'd sanction Carroll out without wanting another forward in (seemingly Dempsey), the board should have coughed up the extra few million for him. They paid that fucking ludicrous amount for Carroll under Dalglish's reign and I'd trust Rodgers to be more sensible and he has been, shame, they could have had a good window.

Tottenham's has been average to poor, they didn't get Moutinho and that could impact heavily, although the signings in are class players, albeit Lloris is over rated.

United, good, Kagawa is great, RVP is immense. Needed a big, strong midfielder, sort of like Javi Garcia in fairness and they'll struggle at times in the middle.

Arsenal, have done the worst for me.

Chelsea, done well on the forward position, Azpilicueta is a good right back, but their central defenders besides Cahill are arguably average at best, Luiz is shit in my opinion.

Fulham have done the best business with Berbatov, starting more often he could be class.

It is a monumental fuck up to have let Carroll go.

Agreed, I'd have said the same about De Jong, but we got Javi Garcia in, and they should have followed suit and brought in another forward. They've failed to do that and they could and probably will pay for it, Carroll should have been on stand by, not just let go without any assurances for a replacement.

Yep as the avatar shows have done shit in this window.

I'm so glad we have our wonderful owners, yet another £50 million quid spent there or thereabouts give or take a tenner.

So Chelsea didn't bring anyone in today after being linked with a lot of the big names?

Good. Fuck em. They've been thrashed by both of the good teams they've played this season thus far.

Good point, well made.

Rags have had a good window, but if Rooneys cock falls off(we've all heard the rumours) and RVP gets his obligatory injury, they will struggle. I don't think they've strengthened where they really needed to. Bacon face's last hurrah me thinks!

I've not heard the rumour - what's the rumour? Sounds like it could be funny!!!

Spurs had a poor window. Lost their two best players. The replacements are not play-makers like they were and ade will not score as many goals for that reason.

Along with spurs, united. They scored enough goals last year that was never their problem. RVP a good buy but never an essential one. Midfield, Kagawa is a top signing but there is something missing in that area, we have a massive edge on them with that, and their back four could be stronger as well.

Chelsea WILL be stronger than last year but a lot of new signings will take time and for that reason I dont see them for the league this year.

Overall-City have done decent business and I fancy us for the title again.

Kagawa against Fulham:
1 effective pass
loss of possession/tackles any other in the team
0 accuracy in crosses & long passes, let alone creative passes
1 lucky tap in

It's puzzling that some people praise Kagawa who hasn't done anything brilliant.
I don't really understand why rags needed to purpose him unless they got him to sell shirts and to lure lucrative sponsors replacing another Korean related shirt seller.

it should be great season.. most of top teams are stronger (except arsenal) and it's going to be epic fight for both title and CL spots.

Wouldn't necessarily agree with that. In Cazorla they've got a real gem. Between him Podolski, Giroud, Walcott and Ox, they should be able to start scoring a few goals. If Giroud catches fire they could be a dark horse.

Of the top 7-8, maybe Newcastle to be the big loser and Everton knocking on the door.
1. City
2. Chelsea
3-7. Liverpool Arsenal United Spurs Everton
8-10 Swansea Newcastle QPR
