They were instated in the new first division following the Great War by the Football League

You might disagree with the basis of that decision, you might even be inclined to believe some of the scurrilous rumours surrounding Henry Norris at that time but you surely cannot question the legality of it?

Anyway, one much welcome benefit of that was to keep the Dark Side from White Hart Lane away from the top tier of English football

I have never used the term 'tarquins' and don't even know which clubs fans it refers to. I am a City supporter though.

Hang on, you're not that arsed yet your first post on this thread was accusing me of misquoting ( which I didn't do, still waiting on the apology ) a reference to our financial situation.

Apologies if my assumption is incorrect but it seems as though you are the one being sensitive and perturbed ( which you accused me of ) by my use of the word Tarquin, would I be right?

Ozil is a fraud who plays well for half a season whilst the whole team is playing well. He will soon disappear into mediocrity when you have your annual wobble.

To even compare him to Silva is a disservice. Silva can run a game in ways Ozil can only dream of. Ozil is closer to De Bruyne in terms of creativity but no one in world football, aside from Iniesta, comes close to Dave when it comes to dictating a game.
